Why is it important?
This paper is a demonstration of my ability to deeply analyze literature and find meaning with in great writing from the English language. It is evidence that I have the ability to not just read literature but also to understand it and, therefore, teach it. It is important for me to know this in order to pass along efficient skills to my students. Understanding literature is an important part of education and reading is the basis for all learning. I think that teachers in middle school should be able to help their students not only read but begin to look for the meanings between the lines as well.
